I rode into school today and discovered a few things:
1. I get out of shape fast. I have only been riding once sometimes twice a week for a total of 30-60 miles a week, instead of the maximum 250 miles a week. I have been cutting back for the past three or four weeks now and I just have lots of trouble keeping up the old speed.
2. I stopped the bus driver near my house this morning how long it takes to get downtown and he said only 45 minutes... I have trouble believing him, since I passed him and never saw him pass me again, and it took me 1:10 to get here, but anyways it may be a good alternative to get to school. I will probably buy a monthly pass and try to get some extra study time in on the bus this month.
3. I decided to run 60 miles before Christmas. I think it may be a good time to start running again and try to stay in semi-racing shape just in case a race comes along that I want to do, I wont have to train. Plus I just want to feel better...by the way, giving blood last month doesn't help my situation.
I read today that Jan Ulrich is getting half a million dollars that is owed to him from 2003 tour de France. He wasn't paid because he had been accused of doping... He is clear and never cheated I guess. I am glad, because he was one of my favorites. Which just reminds me that I wanted to mention that the Italian cyclist "the Cobra"...is a loser, if you know his real name I will give you a t-shirt.

Dan how can you keep up with training with your school? I wish I could find the motivation to train. I NEED IT! I need to live near you!

Dan, you're amazing for riding and running that much! I don't know what to do to kick my butt in gear. I want to look as good as Rob did preggers and don't know if its gonna happen. I certainly can't see myself running 30 miles a week or whatever she was doing! aaaahhh! But I only wanna gain 10kgs (22 lbs) Can you give me some tips? Besides not eating everyting I feel like eating?? haha I'm so serious tho. Maybe I will call you..
